About the
University of Minnesota
Career and Lifework Center

Who can benefit from using the Center?

Why did the University develop the Center?

What have you been working on lately?

Simply put, our mission is to...

"promote lifelong learning to help adults move into higher skilled and/or more meaningful lifework."

There is nothing like the feeling of gaining new competencies. Can you remember how you felt when you first learned how to crawl, read, drive, use a computer, write fictional stories etc? You probably felt a boost of self-confidence and energy, and it may have inspired you to learn something else!

Our professional Lifework Consultant can help you rediscover the joy of learning!

We can help you:

  • transition into higher skilled positions.
  • refocus your skills and talents so that you are engaged in activities more meaningful to you.
  • get excited about what life has to offer, and what you have to offer others!

The Career and Lifework Center is your front door to a world of lifelong learning resources, within the University of Minnesota and in the greater Minnesota community! Let us help you discover what's next for you!
